Darryl Person
Network Engineer / Satellite Operations Manager, Enterprise Systems Solutions, Metlife

Darryl Person joined MetLife in 1998 as an Assistant Systems Engineer of Data Communications in the Network Deployment department of Information Technology. In 2001, he transitioned over into MetLife’s Satellite Broadcasting Network. To date he serves as a Network Engineer / Satellite Operations Manager, managing approximately 300 Sales and Corporate offices throughout the Enterprise.

As a Network Engineer, Darryl’s responsibility includes the design, proposal, implementation, training, and maintenance of satellite and Audio / Visual presentation systems. He also has shared responsibility for the rollout of video teleconference and streaming media technology.

In his role as Satellite Operations Manager, he is responsible for the coordination of satellite transmissions for private company broadcasts, commercial programming, equipment upgrades, relocations, removal and new satellite installations.
