Nigel Gibson joined Telesat in 2009 as Vice President, International Sales based in London, UK. Mr. Gibson came to Telesat from SES New Skies where he served as Vice President of Sales for Europe, Middle East and CIS. Prior to joining SES New Skies, Nigel held the position of Vice President of Sales for Northern Europe with GlobeCast (a division of France Telecom ) and, prior to GlobeCast, was in the broadcasting industry as head of DTH Marketing for Sky Television in the UK.

Mr. Gibson attended Leeds Metropolitan University where he received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Studies.
