Speaking Information

Nominating a speaker for SATCON

SATCON is currently accepting end-user* speaker nominations for the 2010 conference program. Nominatons will be accepting on a rolling basis until the program is full, however most speakers will be confirmed by April 30, 2010.

To nominate a speaker: email Liz Miller at liz@jdevents.com and include the speaker's name, title, company and brief biography.

SATCON conference topics are determined by the SATCON Advisory Board and Conference Chair therefore white papers and session ideas are not suitable for submission.

*SATCON defines an end user as a current employee from a broadcast/media/entertainment firm, military and government, telco, or a private sector company that uses information and communications technology (ICT) but does not sell ICT services, equipment, integration or consulting.

Vendors and Solutions Providers are encouraged to nominate their end-user customers as speakers.

Show management reserves the right to work with speakers to identify a suitable panel in which to participate, to adjust or change their proposed content to meet the needs of our audience.

Review Process
All topic and speaker submissions will be reviewed and selected speakers will be notified of their acceptance. Most speakers will be confirmed by April 30th, but some may take longer. Unfortunately, due to the number of speaker nominations it may not be possible to respond to very proposal concerning whether or not their speaker has been accepted
